The tea party provides many ways for citizens to get involved in their community and take action.   You can help whether you enjoy going to meetings, writing blogs on the website, or just calling your elected official.   Most of our members lead busy lives, but they care about their future.

  • Action Alert - We try to post on a weekly basis any local, state or Federal action alerts.
  • Find a Tea Party Group - One of the best ways to get started is to attend a meeting.   You will find people like yourself that are worried about the direction of our country and want a better future.
  • Contact Your Congressman - If you have an issue, such as Obamacare, please feel free to call your congressman.   Too often congressmen get calls from lobbyists and special interest groups.   Remember to be polite, provide your name, address and tell the congressman or his staff exactly why you are calling.
  • Write A Blog On The Tea Party Website - We have found out that many people enjoy writing on issues.   South Florida Tea Party's website is seen by thousands every month.   Writing a short blog on issue is a great way to express yourself.
  • Write A Letter To the Editor - Elected officials often read the letters to the editors to get a "feeling" for an issue.   Remember to follow the basic rules of each paper and you will have a good chance of getting published.   • Post a Topic or Respond on the Forums - The Forums are a great place for discussion on issues.   People often want feed back on issues or have questions.
