Time: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Various congressional offices.
Details: Since April 15, thousands of Americans have signed our online petition against out-of-control government spending and another petition against government health care. We will deliver the petitions to our representatives and videotape the event. If you would like to participate, call Marianne at (561) 247-5264.
Sept. 11: Registration for Sept. 12 march and sign-making party
Time: 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Where: Meeting room in the Hyatt Regency Capitol Hill, 400 New Jersey Ave. N.W., Washington, D.C.
Details: If you are staying at the Hyatt, you can ship bulk poster board to your room. You must include your arrival and departure dates.

Time: 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Where: Meeting room in the Hyatt Regency Capitol Hill, 400 New Jersey Ave. N.W., Washington, D.C.
Details: Bring your own materials and some great ideas.
Sept. 12: March on Washington
8 a.m.: Meet at the Hyatt Regency Capitol Hill, 400 New Jersey Ave. N.W., Washington, D.C. We’ll travel to Freedom Plaza, which is 1.1 miles away. The shortest metro route to the Hyatt is to take the Judiciary Metro to the Metro Center.
8:30 a.m.: Meet at Freedom Plaza, 1350 Pennsylvania Ave. N.W. Gather to the right of the main stage area. We will help lead the parade with two other state groups.
11:30 a.m.: March begins down Pennsylvania Avenue.
1 p.m.: March ends and rally begins at the west front of the U.S. Capitol.
5 p.m.: Tea Party Patriots gather for a photo at the White House dress as your favorite czar (see Sept. 12 Florida event for examples). Have some costume ideas you’d like to share? E-mail us! We’ll award prizes for the best dressed and most creative czars.
